Assessment of Value for Money in Service Delivery and Community Expectations - Civil Infrastructure Maintenance Contract
In line with Council's policies and compliance with statutory regulations, City of Port Phillip (CoPP) engaged IVWater to conduct an audit of the contract to review its Value for Money in relation to:
Level of service
Customer expectations and satisfaction
Compliance with maintenance and engineering standards
Rates review and assessment
Sustainable practices and compliance with agreed Key Performance Indicators
The City of Port Phillip (CoPP) Civil Infrastructure Maintenance Services contract provides for the maintenance and renewal of Council's civil assets including roads, drains, footpaths, signs and furniture.
The services via CoPP's managing contractor also provide for defect inspections of roads, direct handling of customer service requests relating to road maintenance and after hours call outs.
The key requirement of the contract is to ensure that these assets are maintained in accordance with the Council's strategy and provides value for money in its service delivery.
The project commenced in December 2018 and was successfully completed in April 2019.
