Lafarge Holcim commissioned IVWater to develop engineering designs and technical drawings for the Grantville sand quarry site vehicles wash bay and refuelling bay works.

The design should be sufficiently detailed for a civil contractor to provide the budget costs and construct the works onsite.

Some of the topics the final design package addressed:

• Traffic management
• Concrete works
• Drainage and treatment of product water and provisions for the accidental spillage containment

The works have been subsequently constructed in 2013 and are fully operational at present.
